What it takes to start
The minimum is 50 per style and color, and sampling runs about seven days from an agreed brief. Two variables decide more than the pattern does: the knit you choose and how it behaves when stretched.
A fabric that is opaque at rest can go sheer across a shoulder or a knee under tension, which is the failure that ends modest gym wear in reviews rather than in production. This is why fabric selection is not a detail here — it is the product. We source to your specification, so tell us where the garment will be worn and how much stretch the wearer expects.
Testing matters more than usual. What we inspect before shipping covers the checks a garment goes through, but a coverage test in motion is something you should do yourself at sample stage — it is the one thing a factory cannot judge on your behalf.
Common questions
Can you source performance knits? Yes, to a specification you set: composition, weight, stretch and recovery. If you have a reference garment, that is the fastest brief.
Will a jersey go sheer when stretched? It can. Opacity under tension is a property of the knit and its weight, not of the color, and it has to be checked over the body rather than flat on a table.
